Terms of use

This document is the agreement between you and the operator of Ctrade (OWNER INPUT REQUIRED). It covers what the desk sells, what it buys, how balances behave and what each side is responsible for. Reading time is a few minutes, and the commercial numbers are in section 04.

01

Who we are and what this service is

Ctrade is a dealing desk for Counter-Strike 2 in-game items. We buy items into our own inventory and resell them. We are not a broker between two users, and there is no other seller behind a listing.

The operator, its registration details and its registered office are listed in the footer of every page. Where those fields read OWNER INPUT REQUIRED, the operator has not yet supplied them and this deployment must not be treated as a live commercial offer.

We are independent of Valve Corporation. Steam and Counter-Strike are their trademarks and we use the names only to describe the items we deal in.

02

Your account

You need to be 18 or older and legally able to enter into contracts. One person may hold one account, and you may not let anyone else use it.

You are responsible for keeping your password and your email inbox secure. We will act on instructions given through a signed-in session, so tell us immediately if you think someone else has access.

We can suspend an account where we see fraud, chargeback abuse, trade-ban activity on the linked Steam account, or attempts to work around identity checks. Suspension does not remove your right to withdraw a settled sales balance once any investigation is closed.

03

Buying from the desk

A listing shows the item, its wear, its float where we have it, and a price in EUR. Other currencies are shown for orientation only, converted at a reference rate; the amount taken from your balance is the EUR amount in the order summary.

Checkout creates an order and holds the amount from your purchases balance. An operator then reviews the order and sends the Steam trade offer. The sale completes when you accept that offer.

If an item turns out to be unavailable, we cancel the order and return the held amount to your purchases balance in full. We do not substitute a different item without asking you.

04

Prices, fees and limits

We charge buyers nothing on top of the listed price. There is no order fee, no service fee and no fee for holding a balance.

When you sell to us, our offer is 82% of the value the item is listed at. The remaining 18% is our margin and covers the risk of holding the item. The exact amount per item is shown before you submit a request.

Card top-ups are accepted between €5 and €1800 per transaction. Withdrawals start at €5. These figures can change; the values in force are the ones displayed in your account at the time.

05

Selling to the desk

A sell request is an offer from you, at the quote we display, for the items you list. It becomes binding on us when we approve it, and on you when you send the items in the trade offer we open.

You must own the items outright, they must be tradable, and they must not be the subject of a dispute, chargeback or stolen-account claim. If we discover otherwise after paying you, the payout can be reversed.

Once the items reach our inventory, the agreed amount is credited to your sales balance. We do not deduct anything from that amount afterwards.

06

Balances and payouts

Your account holds two separate balances. The purchases balance is funded by card and can only be spent on the market. The sales balance comes from items we bought from you and is the only balance that can be withdrawn.

Neither balance is a deposit account, earns interest, or is covered by a deposit guarantee scheme. Balances are held in EUR.

Withdrawals are paid to a card verified on your account, and only after identity checks have been completed. We may pause a payout while we finish a check, and we will tell you why.

07

Identity checks

Before your first sale and before any withdrawal we verify your identity. What we collect and how long we keep it is set out in the identity checks policy.

If you decline the checks, you can still buy from the desk and spend an existing purchases balance, but we cannot buy items from you or release a payout.

08

What we are responsible for

We are responsible for delivering the items you paid for, or returning the money. We are responsible for paying the quoted amount for items we accept.

We are not responsible for the state of the Steam network, trade holds, Valve's policy changes, or for losses caused by you sending items to an account other than the one we name in a trade offer.

Our liability for any claim is limited to the value of the order or sell request the claim relates to, except where the law does not allow that limit. The governing law and the courts that hear disputes are OWNER INPUT REQUIRED.

09

Changes and notices

We update these terms when the service changes. The date at the top of this page is the version in force, and material changes are emailed to the address on your account before they take effect.
